We hope that everyone had a good Christmas and an awesome start to the new year. With practice starting back up tomorrow we want to make sure everyone is healthy and ready to return!
Please note:
Also, with our tournament coming up in 2 weeks we will need a lot of help! On Tuesday we will have a list for what each archer needs to bring in (hotdogs, buns, drinks, ect.) and a link will be sent out to sign up for the various positions needed to run our tournament. Positions needed:
These positions will be listed with how many we need of each and the time we need you for. These will only be needed for Friday night and during the tournament time (9am - 6pm) Saturday January 14th and 15th. You will not be there the whole day unless you just want to, a couple of hours from everyone makes a world of difference!

We had another 2nd place taken home for BE Archery this weekend. The consistency is awesome to see! Keeping right around last week's score with a 3317 for the Gold team, we also gained 59 points on the Red team to bring their score to 2978.
We would also like to recognize those that placed individually: 2nd Place HS Boys to Nathan Abell (With a 293 and a shootout) 4th Place HS Boys to Allen Gentry 1st Place HS Girls to Graicey Greenwell (With a personal best of 282) 2nd Place HS Girls to Emily Hendricks 4th Place HS Girls to Trinity Smith It is awesome to see so many archers improving and setting new personal bests. Even if you did not get recognized in the top 5, there were still a lot of shooters that shot their highs and are constantly improving. Keep up the hard work! We do not need to worry about beating other teams, we only need to focus on doing the best we can and bringing our A game. This group has so much potential and talent! If we get both the Red and Gold teams to reach their potential then the trophies and wins will naturally follow. Recognition is not the goal, it is the result of your hard work and dedication. Congrats to the team for taking home 2nd this past weekend!
This was the first in person tournament of the season and we had a 3324 to kick it off. We would also like to congratulate the individuals that placed: 1st Place HS Boys to Nathan Abell 4th Place HS Boys to Jacob Campbell 3rd Place HS Girls to Trinity Smith 4th Place HS Girls to Rachel Lagermann Congratulations everyone! We look forward to seeing what all we are able to do this year. Special Thanks to Nathan Abell and his parents for picking up the team trophy! Bernheim Tournament Information:

The parent and archer meeting 2021 will be at 6:30PM October 21st in the CCC, the same location as the tryouts. Here are a few notes for archers and parents:
Thank you to all of the archers and parents that came out this year. We have had more archers try out this year than we have ever before at well over 50. With so many archers and so much talent there were hard decisions that had to be made. The results of the tryouts were carefully considered this was not a simple and easy decision. We had a set number decided for how many archers we would be taking before tryouts began, but after we got the results we had to increase that number yet again. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us.
There will be a Parent AND Team meeting on Thursday, October 21st. This will officially mark the start to the archery season! A few important notes for that meeting:

Thank you and lets have another awesome season! Thank you so much for everyone who responded as able to go to Myrtle Beach and shoot in the Championship! The following roster are the ones chosen to shoot as the team! The ones not listed on the team will be given the opportunity to shoot as an individual if they so desire and also will be used as alternates if something were to keep one of the others from not going. If for any reason, at this point you were able to not go anymore, please let us know ASAP! If anyone has any questions about anything let me know.
At this time everyone will continue practicing until after nationals which is April 24. At that point if they are going to Myrtle Beach then they will continue to practice.
