With awesome archer attendance and a few awards to keep at home, this weekend's tourney was awesome. We may have come in second but we hit our goal of 3400 and you know what, that's pretty amazing. We can do that every tournament and then some so let's keep it up.
Our seniors were recognized and had some words to say themselves as they let Jason Waddle know that he may be on his way out after this season ends, but he will be far from forgotten. Whether you have known him for a year or a lifetime, Jason has and always will have a place in the minds and hearts of those he's coached. Thank you to all the volunteers, the coaches, the archers, the wonderful archery community, the donors, the parents, the seniors, and most importantly the Waddles who keep this show going. I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

Awesome job this weekend everyone! 1st place finish at Mercy with a 2nd place finish at North Bullitt and many individual awards is a lot to be proud of. Double tournament weekend typically means lower scores due to the busy schedule everyone is under but that didn't seem to bother anyone this year. We still fell shy of the 3400 goal, but we are right there.
Across 12 people if we can raise each score by 2 points apiece then that alone breaks out goal and we can definitely do that. Awesome start to the season with these first 3 tournaments everyone. Rain the Charger Pride. Congratulations to the 6 selected team captains:
Ashton Buroughs Peyton Renfrow Katelyn Renfrow Emily Warren Cameron Waddle Jasmine Viergutz This is a huge responsibility as well as a role of leadership for the rest of the team. We expect big things from this team and hope these captains can help to lead us there. |
