I hope you all have had a fantastic week so far, I may have some news that will make it even better for those of you concerned about practice next week. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday and students having no school from Wednesday - Friday it has been decided that we will NOT have archery practice that week. No practice will be held on the 26th or the 28th. Please take this time and enjoy the holiday! Happy Thanksgiving!

Please don't let anything you've been working on slip away whenever we have breaks! It is always good to take some time out of each and every day to review the steps, work on your breathing, and help to further develop the skills you hone in practice with or without a bow in hand. Yes it is important to relax, but it is just as important to work on yourself and the things you are passionate for. The most important thing to remember is that YOU are in control of how you shoot, so even if you cannot shoot at home there are still plenty of other things you can work on!

Tuesday night there will be no practice due to the Soccer Team's banquet. Thursday we will have practice as usual. Please let one of the coaches know if you will not be able to make it to practice!

The 2019/2020 schedule is up and posted, please refer to NASP/KHSAA for major tournament updates or make sure you are on the Remind101 app in case things change last minute. Typically they are set in stone but have been moved in the past as needed so keep that in mind.

Practices:
Please make sure to let Jason or one of the other coaches know if you will not be able to make a practice BEFORE you don't show up, not after the fact. If you cannot make your normal practice and need to shoot earlier or later this also needs to be communicated. This year has started out very promising and we all look forward to where we, as a team, will go.
Freshman - Sophomore practices are Tuesday/Thursday at 6:30PM - 7:30PM
Junior - Senior practices are Tuesday/Thursday at 7:30PM - 8:30PM

Tournaments:
Tournaments start in January of 2020 so please check your schedules and make sure to either be there or let one of the coaches know. It costs the team every time someone doesn't show up that should have as we pay in advance and regardless if you show up or not, the money has been spent.

With all of that being said, emergencies happen. Please just let us know if and when something comes up. I hope you all are looking forward to a wonderful season!
